Inspired by a blend of spices used in Indian cooking, this rum-chai recipe adds a subtle residual sweetness from the rum and a wonderful aromatic complexity from the savory notes of cardamom, ginger, and cinnamon. This unique recipe is prepared with artisan thick white bread dipped in our signature egg batter and cooked on the griddle until golden brown. A rum-chai dessert sauce is then layered on top of four halves of toast and topped with powdered sugar.
